By accessing or using CTG Sign, operated by Close The Gap Foundation ("CTG"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
CTG Sign is an electronic signature platform that enables organizations to send, sign, and manage legally-binding documents. The platform complies with the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and the EU Electronic Identification and Trust Services Regulation (eIDAS).
By using CTG Sign to apply an electronic signature, you agree that:
When counter-signing is enabled, the organization's counter-signature may be applied electronically and automatically upon signer submission, or manually by a designated team member. Both methods have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. The organization's intent to counter-sign is recorded in the audit trail, including who authorized the counter-sign configuration and when.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. CTG Sign uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted storage, hashed passwords, and rate-limited authentication.
All signed documents are cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) at the time of signing. The audit trail records every event from document creation through completion, including signer identity verification, consent, signature adoption, and counter-signing. This chain of evidence is tamper-evident and forms the legal record of the transaction.
You agree not to use CTG Sign for any unlawful purpose, to forge signatures, to impersonate another person, or to upload malicious content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
CTG Sign is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Close The Gap Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CTG Sign after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
